It is an amazing trimester!
From the beginning of July to the end of September, over the course of three months, I went through many experiences that I never imagined they would happen, but they did.
There are three units I completed in this trimester. Let's begin with ACF705, Documentary Production Practice.
Documentary Shooting on the tram:
Documentary Final Screening:
Documentary Final Full Version:
What I want to say has already been set in videos.
Secondly, the unit ACF712, The Writers Room.
My eight classmates and I collaborated to write an episodic script, turning it into a single series.
I pitched my own version of the team's web series, Act of Couple, by setting it in Taiwan.
I never expected to receive such a high mark 85% on the final assignment, which is an HD.😍
The last one is the unit ACF700, Writing with the Camera.
Finally, I completed Folio 2, a 1-minute short film, with help from Aarav and Quang.
Also, the lighting exercise with the Camera.
Afterward, I attend the Taiwan Film Festival in Australia in September and watched the film Old Fox.
In addition, I attended CrewCon to hear insights from the film industry and CrewCall to review pitch decks while seeking opportunities to join a film crew.
I have a good news: we will begin our own short film, Prank, this November. Let's make it a reality!
In Melbourne, there are many Taiwanese communities for making connections. One of them is the Melbourne Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce (MTCC), which hosts events during the Moon Festival. Another is the Career Forum, organized by the Australia Career Forum and the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Melbourne, where seniors share their work experiences in Australia.
